And not about not paying taxes to England? Obviously if the political leadership changed they would not longer be paying taxes to England. It was "No taxation without representation", not "no taxation". Many of the colonists no longer wanted to pay taxes to or follow the lead of the England. They thought they were not listented to or treated fairly and they had no representation in parliment. If I thought taxes where too high or the government was not treating me fairly and I revolted against it I would be quickly crushed but if I did win it wouldn't be about stealing land from the US government.
