Maybe a Britain that still included America would have eventually conquered the Louisiana territories.

Any change this signifcant would of course lead to a lot of other changes so all of the rest of history can be affected. I wonder how much of America's future growth in population and power would have gone to a British America, and if there might not have been a revolt anyway but much later.
