Tom, one final question:

You have apparently performed a lot of sales research on Palm. For the purpose of my question, we can assume 23 - 25 cents will be the earnings figure for 2001.

Could you please share your opinion of Palm's valuation with us? We no longer live in the 10-20x sales valuation of the dot-com world. What is a fair value for Palm, based upon typical valuation standards?

I feel that is a fair question to ask -- from anyone. A company is only worth a value based upon earnings.

I happen to love the company, but refuse to follow blindly the stock. Hopefully the current stock market has taught everybody that issue! :)

I simply want to listen and learn the understanding of how investors are pricing Palm. I want to make money with any stock (Palm or Nabisco - it doesn't matter). But if you say that a stock trading at a 114 P/E should trade at a 228 P/E -- without any fundamental stock valuation techniques -- then your valuation falls on its merits.

Advalorem, Don't kill the messenger before he has proven himself.

If I am wrong with all my supposed "hype" then you can give me all the criticism your heart desires...I can take it and will deserve it! I doubt that you will get that chance however, because I think I am 100% sure that my research is SPOT on!!

Good Luck!
