HI Gene Parrott; Ooops! I misread that as a problem between the MBs and the DIMMs, not an interaction between the DIMMs.

But they should be able to figure out which of the parts is causing the problem. Basically, one of them is likely to have excessive capacitance on a pin, but make up for it by having a longer hold time. Or something more or less along that line. But one of the parts violated the spec, and it isn't that hard to figure out which. (Use o-scope, and DDR frequencies are much lower and therefore eaiser than RDRAM frequencies.)
