You mean like the WordPerfect deal. Novell has a bad habit of buying loosers. They are about as bad as I am at picking stocks. At least when I bot Novl at 8 I only had a target of 15. Now I have to increase the target to 100 to make up for the pain and suffering. My current projection is $100 July 14, 3001

Hi Dieter- I noticed the same thing. He has been a NOVEL Director since 1985! Talk about the "old boys".

Here are two good links that show the bio's of the BOD.

What if anything new will he bring to Novell? I just do not understand it. The company, Novell, has a great opportunity to move forward into the Internet space with selling it's services through direct consulting agreements. They bring in old management (a BOD member for 15 years) to implement this new strategy. Let's hope this is an interim appointment.

Good Luck Novell shareholders. I am not a shareholder but would invest new money if I thought they had a new management team with innovative ideas and an exciting business plan. IMO, none are provided in the announcements I have read...so far.
