Bill Gross is a smart guy...no doubt...Bill is smart enough to talk his own book too..Bill Gross is the largest FIXED INCOME manager in the world, he is loving Greenspan being so far behind the curve. Bill Gross' bond funds have enjoyed massive capital appreciation over the last yearas a result of AG being so far behind. No wonder Bill speaks so kindly of AG. Bill however completely punts in his discussion of the Fed's role in creating the "bubble"...I understand why he does it. Again don't get me wrong, Bill Gross is one smart man, I have had the pleasure of meeting him on a number of occasions and we were mentored by some people-in-common. All I am saying is to consider Bill's point of view and self interest when putting his remarks in context.
