Dear richie,>>> unfortunately the guard shot innocent students and few instigators, but in summary they shot unarmed protestors, so how do you justify that?

richie can we assume that all were innocent. Who is a National Guard person. A person who works and maybe supports a family and serves his country because of duty or maybe obligation for support in going to school. A National guardsmen, a patriot brought to a campus where students en mass heckled and cursed and some threw stones. So at some point, maybe by accident a gun discharged or some young man panniced and shots were fired. And now some young men live life knowing that they may or have in fear caused the death of another.

The reality is that based on what was going on at that campus clueless students did not understand the dangerous situation. Sadly vacant liberal minds with no wisdom of the dangers of life were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have witnessed a student riot up close and personal. I had heard rumors that a student demonstration was going to protest the speech of S. I. Hiachowa??(congressmen senator??) I went to the campus main quad and a line of Boston police guarded the entrance to the student center. I also saw several guy dressed in white with red crosses and medical bags that were filled with bottles and stones.

campusmap.neu.edu the quad faces huntington ave and contained by dodge, curry, and richards hall

I told my roommate and we decided to move quickly and stand in the entrance to the library building. The stones and bottle flew. I saw an oblivious student pushing his way across the quad and the police started to push the crowd back. The oblivious student just fought harder to cross the quad and then the police reached his position and he was clubbed and arrested. The rock throwers were well away from the police line and threw rocks and retreated. There may have been 8 rock throwers. As the police line moved forward I and my roommate just stepped into the library and the police line passed in front and past the library. Several minutes later I left to return to my apartment wiser by far about the danger of not paying attention.

So you ask how do you justify students getting shot. There is nothing to justify, shit happens. There is law and order and when a mob threatens an extremely dangerous situation is created and those who stupidly are not aware have accidents and good folks live with the guilt of tragic consequences.

For 100 bonus points: WHO KILLED KENNEDY?

As for RON BL, he has about the same opinion of you as you have of him and has no desire to engage in any discussions with you.

And I think Tom Watson wants to discuss Kent State with you. There may be a problem, though: he thinks the students threw rocks. And as he points out, being around a riot is inherently dangerous.

But let's concentrate on that top line: Was it a mob hit? Castro? CIA? Some combination?
