Last time I report direct from a new fishing hole!! {ggg}

{"Killing" a well implies pumping\loading\injecting a heavy completion fluid\mud into the well so as to counter the reservoir pressure and enable "safe" access to the well (Eg. remove wellhead, pull tubing, etc.). One does not "kill" a well to achieve "shut in" when closing a valve on the Christmas tree can do the same thing.}

Thanks for the lesson. I typed what I was told. Think my fishing abilities are being ''tested''. (ggg)

{So, if you will allow me to put some words in your mouth, I believe you want to say something like:

"Right around 1 PM PST they completed the clean up and shut the well in."

If you wanted to embellish, you might also state, "They were about to run pressure recorders to the bottom of the wellbore in preparation for a flow test which is expected to start within the next 24 hours."}

Thanks for putting the correct words, in my mouth. The embellishment is good, too.

{Hell, what about those flares over the last few days ?? Don't they count for nothing ???}

I thought so, until today.

{Dad, flares are like penises !!! They simply do NOT have to be big to fulfill their purpose and to be effective !!!}

See dear, I told you he said that....right on this thread.
What dear? ....OK, I'll tell him.

Mrs.d says "Grayhairs, stick to flares". ''They may not matter''!! YIKES!!..... LOL......

Must remember.....''shut in''...although......{"Killing" a well implies pumping\loading\injecting a heavy completion fluid\mud into the well so as to counter the reservoir pressure and enable "safe" access to the well.

"Hey dear, want to play well again"?..remove wellhead, pull tubing, etc.). One does not "kill" a well to achieve "shut in" when closing a valve on the Christmas tree can do the same thing......jingle bells, jingle bells...jingle all the way.......
"I can do this"...ggg

Cheers,
dad...aka...draderd
