Well, Joe I agree to some extent about the bubble, and bad ends to bubbles, but I disagree that it would have ended the same whomever won. The current administration has so to speak been pouring gasoline on a blazing fire, when in fact what is prescribed is a vote of confidence. Some people will do anything to get a tax cut, including wrecking the world economy and creating a depression. I guess that's best though!

And it is not over and will get worse. Would have no matter who won the election. I have lived through more than one bubble in my life. They all end badly. -emph mine...

Thank you for being level headed and honest enough not to use this unfortunate circumstance as a way to hammer the new administration - really because they are not the party of your affiliation.

This is the main thing that makes my blood boil when I take part in comversations with people of differeing ideologies. And often my blood boils as hotly because of the idiot comments from people who believe more or less the way I do.

I shrink away from these sorts of forums (usually... hanging around here is kinda new for me) because I get so pissed hearing people use thin arguments to support their underlying pre concieved notions.

I can not have a conversation with r4e for example because I cannot abide his faulty logic everytime he blames the current market condition on the new administration.

I can even concede that one element ( I believe it is small) in the markets (but not our economy in general) recent poopiness is the uncertainty surrounding the new administration.

But when people just blather on like:
"Look!! See!! Your guy stinks! It's his fault! Blah balh blah..."
When, if they had the most minute helping of either honesty or intelligence, they would realize that they were grasping at straws (or lying).

And like I said people on both sides do it.... They are only interested in complaining for the sake of the rush it gives them.

Hmm... who am I to talk... i am feeling a little bouncy myself at this point... haha!

Anyway, I said it before, and I will say it again (a little differently)

You and I believe very different things. And I LOVE it! Keep posting. I'll keep reading with interest and an open mind.
