Also (regarding Mr. Piecyk) -- Qualcomm most probably WILL reach $250 within some reasonable (and finite) period of time, ...

Whereas, things like PriceLine will probably NEVER reach some of its lofty analyst price targets, even if you allow for hundreds of years.

Jon.

JC, I think the reason that Piecyk is blasted so often stems from the fact that some two years earlier here in San Diego, he called QCOM (and I quote) "a joke". He hated it at post-split $6 and loved it at $150. I think the financial community knew how he felt about QCOM in the beginning and they're not going to let him forget it.....ever.

Why does Piecyk always get ripped for his $1,000 target???
Piecyk did not champion qcom early on. He didn't even cover Qcom until the last few days of 1999. He initiated coverage with the $1,000 target in the last few days of 1999 at the top. The actual high was $200 on Jan. 3, 2000.
