I've starting using them about a month ago and so far am impressed.

I still maintained my account at other brokers and went to do some trades after getting used to the IB system and it seemed so cumbersome. Multiple screens for a trade, feedback and confirmation on different screens, having to re-enter option codes. I couldn't believe I had worked with it for so long.

At this point they have IRA's but they are not set up for options in the IRA's they say that is coming.

I saw they have the emini though not the big contracts. It requires a different account to be set up which I plan to do. I've been mostly trading options, but sometimes the spread can get expensive. Usually that is when you want to trade. <gg> But it is fun to play with them when you are not too busy and the spread is big. I go on the other side of the trade I want inside the current bid or ask. Usually they will move in front. Repeat as necessary and then hit the bid when you like it. Of course there always is the chance that your strategic bid gets hit. It doesn't matter for me though because I'm usually wrong anyway. <gg>
