Ron:

My opinion?

Pros: Good company. Solid management team (formerly from Diamond Offshore). Well positioned in a growth sector with solid fundamental prospects (land drilling + natural gas heavy). Hot stock. Highly leveraged (debt/equity = 1.5).

Cons: Hot stock. Highly leveraged (debt/equity = 1.5). <gg> Expensive: P/BV = 7.2X, P/S = 4.3X, P/EBITDA(ttm) = 42X, EV/EBITDA(ttm) = 51X.

Ron,

Sorry, I forgot the second part of my post. Like Razor, I like Greywolf and in fact have used some of their rigs in the distant past - a class act when among Texas land drillers (which is not always necessarily saying much).

I recently cashed in my (3+ basis)long term position, and I would consider jumping back in around the 4-1/2 - 5 level.

I agree with Razor that they have top old-school management (explains underfollowing/low promotion), and would also add that they have a broad assortment of rigs to handle most needs - although many are old, they are kept in good shape and can command solid dayrates.

Regards,

Aggie
