I don't get it. I saw the ricochet ads all over airports. Day before yesterday I finally gave up, and after verifying that you could run the ricochet modems under linux went down to the WWC booth in maiden lane, bought a novatel card and subscribed. Went back home, took me all of 3 minutes to be up and running, and it's close to really impressive. I'm getting 128kbps and I'm on an "in construction" area. There are minor few second blackouts every fifteen minutes or so. I've had worse continuity with verizon's ADSL, in fact I cancelled 'cause they sucked. With my two days of ricochet, I'm happy as clams, and I haven't even taken the laptop outside yet. Then yesterday I heard that actually there was danger of metricom folding and that the ricochet net might be only working till june--- dashed over here to check the posts. Could anyone explain this nonsense to me? I just don't get it. This is the best net home connection I've known. It's a great product, probably best in its class. ???? best, m

Actually, BrownFingers, I don't have to pretend to make money on 110% of my trades as you do. Are you still shorting MCOM to 0? Before you puff yourself all up, look at the indices. You're not such a genius. Difference between you and me is you are a blow hard, but I guess that's the way you make your money. Do you really need to pretend you are never wrong? E.g.luxury short KREM in the teens, long on PRKR now a fraction of what it was, HOMS short @ 18, etc., etc., etc.. Actually, BrownFingers, I'm really not into this personal type stuff but you seem to want to dish it out but can't take it on the rebound. I'd really rather use these boards for information rather than your need for manipulation or perhaps to make up for physical or mental failings. You've done well on your short on MCOM. I congratulate you on that. I'd be careful as some of the tactics could land you in hot water. Let's see if you want to list some real time short picks so we can judge you on your merits and not on your WWF personna.
