One last word in regard to Japan, though I believe there will be much more said on this subject. The Japanese government stated they would start a fund to protect individual investors against further losses from their exposure to the stock mkt. Though it ended up 300 pts up, it was 300 pts down at a day low, good for a 600 point swing! Not surprisingly, all is NOT rosy there and the YEN continued it's slide hitting a two year low as we speak. Again, the news was enough to lift global mkts and as I mentioned in an earlier post, set us up for a bear mkt relief rally. The direction is still in shorters hands. Question is how much they decide to cover and this in itself could potentially lead to a multi-day rally that could extend till Friday.
Most techs up now pre-mkt, not chasing here, will wait for a pull back....
