Good points all, Ron. I'm not predicting a BK. We both know that the odds of one happening any given week are very low. The charts are set up for one, however. That raises the odds IMO. They have gone from highly unlikely to simply unlikely.

If the forces of deflation are taking over, the fed won't be able to pump the economy back up. Pushing on the proverbial string,in other words.

As long as employment remains high, debt will continue to increase, and deflation is no threat. If employment or wages start falling, deflation will become a threat, don't you think? That would not be good for energy.

I am long energy at the present.
