It's tough to resist another tortured metaphor. This market begs for them. One of the trading desks described the action as "dry heaves". Very little selling pressure left.

Model allocation models are hitting all time highs for equities. In the fall of 1998, I recall them hitting 99% and the comment that 99% was only because 100% was not allowed. This morning one hit 100% equities.

Given a historical basis, from this point we are either making a bottom or going to see a heretofore unexplored level of dante's inferno.

As always, I suggest a measured approach but the reward side of the scales is gaining weight.

Hi Don,
I meant to comment sooner and just remembered. Cosmo was organizing the rig party. He's on vacation, touring the world with profits made investing in the patch. I'm sure once he returns to the states and gets back to SI, we'll be getting an update at that time.

i have asked the rig party question a couple of times and no one answers. a deafening silence?
