I am not terribly wealthy, yet I agree with Jay Chen's assessment of how markets operate.

On the topic of ORCL for instance, I realize that a 900% gain in 1 year from 99-00 was not justified.

I also realize that insiders were propping up the stock so they can get their fat wallets richer by having people like you and me hold the bag; they continued to do so up until Ellison's $900 million sale of stock.

I realize that most MAJOR bear markets give up at least 50% of the gains from the previous bull market.

Given that this bull market in 1982 (or even 1988 for arguments sake), we have a lot more to go.

These are just a few of the things Jay Chen and I agree upon.
