PALM MARKET DOMINATION anything over 50% (Monopolys are considered effective at 20%)
EUROPE:<Context said Palm (stock: PALM) now has 55 percent of the market.>
US<same period in the United States, Palm products—including Handspring Visors—dropped to 86***
percent market share from 92 percent>
Well, this is not a market with a ceiling on it, its a growing market, and PALM and all its competitors that
use and pay Palm licensing and royalties for the PALM OS are all GROWING MARKET SHARE.
MSFT for example has never had 80% of any market, and Bill Gates is the richest person on earth.
PALM looks better every day to me.

***BTW the fall off in market share, was NOT A DECREASE IN SALES, but due to LACK OF SUPPLY, as
PALMS were totally bought up in a growing market, they sold every PALM device they had, they ran out,
and in the larger market sales for the period you talk about, people did buy the what was left in the stores
THAT CHRISTMAN, but surely they would have rather bought a PALM if there were any left. They could not make them fast enough, maybe you remember that and those articles last November, December, and January now that I menTioned it, too bad the Context study was not honest enough to mention the chip inventory and other component jelly bean parts that prevented PALM from stocking more inventory, they would have sold even MORE.
I don't know of any other tech products that sold out at christmas except kids toys like the sony playstation, also FYI Sony is doing the PALM color CLIE handheld device now too, I guess that's toys for us adults.
I am,
Truly your$,
