I agree, I own PALM because market share over 50% is a very powerful position for the FUTURE. I owned CPQ, DELL, AAPL and the rest. I think PALM is a better price point, cheaper, for what most people use any computer device for, and its small and mobile, so in a tight economy, its a better gift, better budget price for increased productivity and just a plain cheaper bargain overall. CPQ I will never own again, since the former CEO sold at a high and didn't say so until his SEC disclosure came out and CPQ then tanked, luckily I sold at a small profit, which could have been larger, but could have been a loss. I strongly agree with your insight that this will eventually be a convergence market and that it may well end up being PALM/SUNW/IBM/ORCL versus MSFT.
I am,
Truly your$,
