"That's an amazing amount of confidence in J6P, don't you think?"

LOL! Yes, I tend to hang out with people on the right hand side of the IQ bell-curve, but I think my anecdotal perception is pretty well supported by the Trimtabs figures for the past few months. Most people I know are just now moving from the "denial" stage to the "confusion" stage, but have been moving some of their money to "safer" places. No torrent yet, but picking up momentum.
It isn't completely lost on people, especially with the recent news coverage, that their stock fund portfolios have been going nowhere, at best, for the past 2 years. A drift downward from dow 10,000 for any length of time will turn unease into action, imo.

Naz looking ugly....I say we go weak into AG...and if he only 50BP....this thing get some needed capitulation...and an intermediate term bottom....

I am thinking we could see Dow 9000-9200 (!) and Naz 1600 by next Friday....sounds radical, but so many charts are falling apart still.....and absent 100 bp (which would scare the heebee jeebes out of some), I think Fed cut is old news....

A fear/capitulation bottom is going to be the only thing to significantly rally prices from here...given the lack of a earnings catalysts...that 2B on the sidelines, IMO, will (partially) come into the market ONLY if we get a huge flush...otherwise...it'll sit there...and we'll keep doing the do-se-do (3 steps down, 1 step up)
