Disappointment on the PPI tomorrow would probably be fatal, given where we're closing on the major indices. However, energy prices have been trending down the past few weeks and that may save the day (at least untill next Wednesday, when we get 75 bp's and a selloff.) OTOH, if by some fluke (and given the new sense of integrity at the current BLS, I don't rule it out) the PPI comes in say, at 0.4 or higher, we are looking at a bona fide "unmentionable". Maybe the Cheif's new souped-up shuttle is a little more potent than usual?<G> Message 15497295
