>>The Gallup poll you cite is showing the answers to the personal approval question, "Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of X?"

No, you are wrong. That Gallup is an analog for "job approval" because Clinton never had majority approval as a "person". Even the ABC poll found that. So your reading makes no sense.

The day of that ABC poll was about Jan 10. So Clinton had about two weeks left in which to disgrace himself.

And he did. I defy you to find any poll that says what you said, i.e., "Clinton's job approval ratings remained in the 60's to the day he left office."

Besides, polls are always taken after the fact, so any poll on the end of Clinton's term would have to be taken at the end of January or early Feb to give an accurate picture.

What's really important is that Clinton is reviled now and forever.

When did monetary success replace values for the liberals? When did you sell you souls to the devil ? All you point to about Clinton's success is monetary gains (all for the rich and wealthy I might add).
Why did the cries that rang loud and clear about the plight of the homeless disappear during the Clinton years to be replaced by oh look how good the stock market is? Why now is the plight of the homeless again showing up in the papers. 4 articles last weekend in Bay Area magazines ? Are you just users of the downtrodden ? What happened to the liberal idealism?
