turnmore, re: "Been burned, been there, done that." Both ways. Average in, don't try to pick the bottom. You are not smart enough, nobody is. If you want to invest $1, invest 10 cents a week for the next 10 weeks, or 5 cents for 20 weeks, or 20 months if you are really conservative. Buy more shares when the price is down, less when it is up. If you think you are smarter than this market, it will teach you a lesson. If you contribute alms to this market with respect, it will reward you. You are as dumb as a rock, and this market knows it. John
