Note that it is quite possible that any current DDR SDRAM interoperability problems could end up being fixed in the chipset instead of the DIMMs as well. These are systems, and they interact together in complicated ways.

But who cares. Unlike the RDRAM RIMM motherboard problem, the DDR DIMM guys caught this one before it got released to the public.
