Is This Correct for 3/15...?
Breakout count:
Up --- +4 [jnj sbc cat mmm]
dwn -- -2 [pg msft]

CLX number would be +2

Hi da cheif,

I've been following the conversation between you and Chip... I find your system fascinating, but I'm also having a bit of a problem following everything... if I may, let me see if I could explain what I think I have so far, and you could tell me if I'm even close..... I appreciate you efforts here.....<g>

As I understand it so far, you're keeping a continuous per penny obv for each individual stock of the DOW 30... as long as the continuous obv remains in the minus, then that counts as one minus stock for that day... when the per penny obv for that stock goes plus, then that stock counts as one plus stock for that day... each day, you're counting the sum of all the plus and minus per penny obv for each of the 30 stocks... when the two day daily sum changes from plus to minus, or the other way around, that would be a break out when it goes above the previous high or low (the previous high or low means outside the previous day's range on the daily bar chart)...

Am I close or am I way off the radar screen?

TIA

Best Regards,

GZ
