So the argument is that the fetus and all of it's synonyms have been dehumanized?

Good way to look at it.

Thanks.

<< Why, because the people supporting it line up on a particular "political" platform. >>

Not me. First of all, I am a Republican. I am opposed to affirmative action. I am opposed to flag burning. I was for keeping Elian in this country and telling Castro to go to hell. I am greatly opposed to communism, fascism and socialism. I am pro business, but I am also pro environment. I couldn't stand Gore, but I feel that Bush does not have the capabilities to safely lead this nation.

So..... not to bore you too much with details, I don't fit any political platform. Oh yeah, I forgot...... I am also very much in favor of federally funded abortions, both domestic and internationally.

<< Anti-religion laws and gay rights laws for example. >>

It's called "separation of religion and state" and .... gays don't want special rights, they just want the same rights that other straights and other married couples receive.

<< If any effort is made to dehumanize a portion of humanity to accomplish the goals of a political group then the principle is likely false. >>

Would you consider a sperm a portion of humanity? How about an unfertilized egg? How about a conservative?

<< I'm still smilin' >>

I'm glad that I can bring some happiness into your life. <g>

Many conservatives and religious fundamentalist constantly attempt to dehumanize gays. So, in this case, you would be right.
