I'm getting Georgetown-Arkansas on the NY affiliate and BC-Southern Utah on the CT affiliate. I see that the horn has literally been stuck for five minutes in the Georgetown game and instead of switching they are just talking. I have BC going to the Elite 8 so if they don't pick it up here in the second half I'm in big trouble.

Another round of heart pounders. BC missed a crucial shot up by one with 15 seconds to go and somehow came down with the offensive board. They got fouled and just barely made the front end of a one and one and banked the second one off the rim and then the glass to go up by three. Southern Utah, after calling time out, inbounded the ball in their court, got the open three, and just missed it.

Kent State up by two and in danger of flying out of bounds with possession called a time-out and eventually scored to go up by four with under 30 to play. Indiana missed their shot, fouled, and Kent State made them both to go by six with 7 seconds to go. Indiana nailed a three with 3.6 to go, fouled, Kent State made the first one, missed the second, but got the rebound to run out the clock. Once again, a quick exit for Indiana, this time without Bobby Knight.

Georgetown's shot clock was .2 more than the game clock, they held to the last tenth second and got the shot off for the win. It was so close they had to go to the replay.

I had led a charmed life up until the last few games going 9-1. I'm now 9-3. Oh well. Go BYU!
