No-one looks good when gone over with a fine-tooth comb. He appears to take more principled stands on many issues I care about ... I do agree that the way one conducts his/her personal life is relevant, though. I'm no big W supporter, just think based on what I hear that he might be able to rise to the occasion when tough decisions are called for in the next couple of years ... OTOH, I would expect Gore to make the wrong decision no matter what because of his belief that government should take an hyper-active role in improving my life ...
