Hmmm... good observation. My bias is capital preservation. There are strategies for earning a return without undue risk, but the returns are commensurate. The hard part will be getting back in. My personal objective is to wait for turbulence to clear, taxes done, calendar cleared... another month should do it. Then to put a chunk in active play. That being said, it's actually harder staying out. You wouldn't believe the number of times I've almost dialed back in... only to see another non-bottom fail. Man, this watching my portfolio go up and down by a fraction of a percent on a volatile day is killing me! John.
