FGX stated that they were spending little more than the interest they recieve from our $34mil. They appear to be in no rush at this time, which I think is good.
One danger of this mandate may be shifts in political stability over time. But after having said that I am hopeful that the NAFTA adjenda (sp)? to unite the Americas works. If it hurts anyone I think it hurts the blue collar folks up here and benefits those down there. This I presume should leave us with a relatively stable political environment.

More production slippage, Cambior:

For the quarter, its gold output slipped to 155,000 ounces from 167,000 ounces a year ago. For 2001, Cambior said it sees output of 585,000 ounces of gold compared with the 613,000 in 2000.
