During an interview March 12 amidst the stunning sell-off that plunged the S&P 500 officially into bear market territory, Wharton finance professor Jeremy Siegel was no happier about stock losses than anyone else. But he was satisfied, he said, that the forces that make stocks the investor's best long-term bet are still dependable.
