Paul,

Can't wait to see the features of this "mobile" processor.

Intel is WAY AHEAD of AMD in mobile processors - and AMD keeps screwing up - and Intel is executing well.

I accept the fact that Intel is ahead of AMD in mobile processors. Intel has an 850 MHz mobile processor, AMD doesn't. But why is it that they are going to release a desktop processor and call it "mobile"? Don't you find it a little puzzling yourself?

Suppose you are in a race, it's the last lap, leading comfortably, and you are now entering the last turn before the finish line. Are you going to go all out, risk your life to gain a 1/100 of a second, or are you just going to leisurely cross the finish line?

Intel seems to be putting a lot on line for no gain, if AMD is nowhere in sight. Do you think Intel is acting rationally? Or could it be that your premise is not quite right?

Joe
