I agree. Remind me to take a look at the specs of the mobile 1 GHz Pentium III once they're released on developer.intel.com .

On the other hand, I think you hinted that the 1 GHz mobile Pentium III is just another case of shoehorning a desktop processor in a laptop chassis. This is definitely not the case; it's obvious that the mobile Pentium III is very different from the desktop version. This isn't the same as mobile Duron, which is probably just a voltage-starved desktop Duron.
