Ants are quite the pest. What we do to keep ants out of our yard is to broadcast Amdro throughout the entire yard four times a year. Then, if one rogue pile comes up, we just take it out!

We've got fire ants now. We haven't seen any of what we call piss ants in years.

Broadcasting the Amdro only kills the ants, the spiders and other critters don't seem to eat the stuff.

We also have South American Geckos that live in our eaves, our garage and garden. They love to eat spiders, roaches, pill bugs and ants. We used a spray once in the yard and damn near wiped out the whole population of geckos.
