Mike, I'll give you a quick comment, as I'm running off to work. I think they'll cut 3/4 (they certainly have the economic data they need to justify it, IMO). I think a half point will drag the markets lower, 3/4 point will prompt a short-term move up (perhaps very short) and then back down, and a surprise 1 point move (which I'd like to see) might be enough to keep us from moving too much lower after a nice rally. I was glad to be able to cover this morning prior to the uncertainty of the FED action. I'll likely be on the sidelines until the news hits, however if AMAT were to bounce back to 47 today or Monday, I will consider shorting again.
