Pass,
The realization of spillover to the rest of the world would make the narrow view of 1/2 vs 3/4 moot if AG follows his own example. The markets of the entire world are responding to US data(today consumer confidence) because of the perceived need for dramatic rate cuts to get the US giant rolling again. Will he not move boldly to fight off inflation that clearly doesnt exist? Even if inflationary pressures rise, higher prices just cant be passed along in an economic downturn like this one. I have no fear of stagflation reoccurring. I hope AG isnt in that camp. Mike
