Funny thing you should mention Siebel.

I'm going to the Siebel Classic seniors golf tournament today at Coyote Creek GC.

If I run into Tom I'll ask him if he's going to warn and let you know <gg>.

BTW, does the FED need any more evidence that NOW is the time for a BIG RATE CUT...The CEOs of CSCO and SEBL are seeing a big slowdown globally...why isn't mr. Greenspeak? --> Is he out of touch and BEHIND the curve...=)

How about not even on the road, let alone in a car? ;-)

What to we do if we get a 1% rate cute, a Bear rally, and it goes back down? Then we are really in trouble!

Seibel calls global slowdown likely

Funny, Mr. Coleman, CEO of BEAS just got done saying the exact opposite at a presentation at Goldman Sachs:

boards.fool.com

The link has another link which will give you the replay information. I very highly recommend listening. About a 30 minute presenation. It is enough to bring a tear to a true and disciplined gorilla investors eye - I'm not kidding. I am sold, lock, stock and barrel.

Anyway, Mr. Coleman states that in his opinion we are in a tech recession, but the economy as a whole is sound. He also states why companies like ORCL missed and why BEAS not only will not miss (strongly reiterated the raised guidance they gave last month at the earnings call) but also said they have great visibility. He then goes into detail as to why.

Anyway, I highly recommend this call as a starting point for BEAS DD. I am sold and will buy BEAS as my major gorilla holding going forward. Now I honestly hope it does not come to pass, but, Rat, on TMF, states he spotted a gap at around $20. I doubt if it will ever fill, but who the heck knows.

P.S. To put into perspective, whereas AVNX and CREE are more speculative, perhaps nothing more than royalty plays in the end, this, I do believe, but discussion and further debate may change that opinion, is the real, genuine, authentic and very rare, gorilla article.
