Exactly! High ADX tells you that there has been a big time move in one direction. Add the Trader Vic 1-2-3 lines on, and you can see if a 2"B" test is here. For example, this morning, there were three clunks to the downside on the 5M NQ chart, and ADX got to 50.

A textbook 2B bottom was formed on a "clean swing", and reversed:
