General Motors Corp (GM) and Impco Technologies Inc.'s (IMCO) Quantum Technologies Inc. unit have started discussions about establishing a business relationship. Company representatives weren't immediately available to provide additional information. Quantum Technologies develops hydrogen, natural gas and propane handling and storage technologies for fuel cell and internal combustion engine manufacturers. General Motors conducts fuel cell research and development through its Global Alternative Propulsion Center.
