Hi CK, thanks for the URL leading to Round Cables. Cleaning the Case sounds like a good idea. After 2 years perhaps I too should grab the vacuum and case clean<g>. The 120mm fan installed in left side of case opposite the CPU is very noisy compared to the two 80mm in lower inside front. I have it wired through a Radio Shack Rheostat 25-Ohm, 3 watt Wirebound variable resistor (#271-2658) $3.49, that I throttle it back to same noise level as the two 80mm fans.
Rheostat mounted just below the fan.

Works great in the Mid-Tower. CPU temp. about 7 degrees warmer than room temp.
