power is always the only real standard Sometimes there are more equal agreements about power, but it's always all about power Whatever society you are in, you are at the mercy of it's just the way things are I see no point in arguing about how things "ought" to be since I see no reason for "ought" to's things are the way they are we may not like it for personal reasons but I see no reason why your wishes, or my wishes, or anyone's wishes are important in any non-subjective sense
