"No one has claimed that the Palm Beach ballot was badly designed on purpose, just that there is clear evidence that it was badly designed and the net effect hurt Gore."

Don't you understand that America and your party would be better off by sucking it up, using it as learning opportunity for the next election and losing gracefully? According to you the loss was the fault of Teresa LaPore (sp?), republican operatives, GWB's lawyers (even though Gore had the better one) and the biased US SC.

I'll tell you whose fault it really was. Al Gore's. Get over it, get positive about the future, try to help your group with out ostracizing the other and lead a happy and productive life. Or wallow in your despair that is caused by others. Whatever works best for you.

The effect you cite is your opinion. The fact is that Gore lost.

OK. So it wasn't the voter's fault. Life isn't fair. Get used to it. Here in CA, it's not my fault that my state legislature allowed itself to be bought by power generators, but I'm stuck with the consequences- -until the next election when I'm going to vote to have the idiots pursue other careers. Maybe Gore and the Democratic Party should do likewise if this is the best they can do.

How many times re-votes do you get to decide an election? How many re-counts? How many votes do the counters get to make up.

Look, you lost. That isn't going to change regardless of what you do now. GWB isn't going to be un-inaugurated and he isn't going to be impeached. Accept it and move on. Your only hope is to fix the future, not the past.
