You are wrong again. We are discussing income tax rates. You intrude with the irrelevancy of payroll taxes - which are akin insurance and pension payments. I wish the payroll taxes had nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, the Social Security and Medicare "trust funds" are funding the so-called surplus that Bush plans to take the tax cuts out of, so they have everything to do with it. They also have everything to do with the relative Federal tax burden in this country, which was the point under discussion.
