In 1929 the rate high was 6%. In 1931 it was 1.5%. That's agressive.

I believe the fed rate was around 6% just before the crash and bottomed out around 1% a year and change later... they did raise again at some point in late '31 or 32, you'll have to check on that. Of courese that doesn't mean anyone borrowed anything! What is your understanding??
