From 1929-1933 some went broke, some followed Hitler, We should stop letting Greenspan lead us and start leading ourselves. Its all Greenspan's fault. It was all done to "poison pill" the turn over of Presidential Power and the Congressional Power to the Republicans, but make no mistake, it was CLINTON who speedily renominated Greenspan, and its was not Greenspan, but RUBIN who created the 8 years (not really 10) of prosperity, and that ended when Larry Summers took over the Treasury and did not counter Greenspan who was then free to create his 2nd Greenspan Recession. Remember, the 1st Greenspan Recession was at the end of the Bush Sr Admininstration before Rubin. Greenspan was there RECESSION, Rubin was there Prosperity, Rubin left and Greenspan was still here RECESSION. Get the picture. If I were Bush Jr I would be more than vocal, I would use whatever power I had to terminate the command structure at the Federal Reserve. We really need a responsive Fed Chairman who is the Secretary of the Treasury and serves at the pleasure of the President. Decentralize the Federal Reserve and make the other Governors more autonomous, make the Federal Reserve meet and release changes in federal reserve related rates DAILY not less than MONTHLY. Make them work for a living, make them accountable like evey other job on this planet, give American's a more democratic Republican Government.
I am,
Truly your$,
