I find a run after a fed cut hard to believe. Everyone want's a 75 point cut and I don't see the data behind such a move by the fed. So if they give us 50 or 25 which I believe could happen then the market tanks. Anyway, I find if very hard for a sustainable rally to happen. We no sooner get one rate cut and we are looking for then next. At some point the fed runs out of rate cuts and at the current rate sooner rather than latter :-). To rally the market has to find some other reason to buy than the rate cut only. It's just way too thin of a reason to buy, it doesn't hold any water in my mind.

Now it is possible that we see a rally as you are positioning for but IMHO it will be very short lived and not as explosive as the suprise cut.

FT

EDIT: We are way past the point of anything but fundamentals being the reason to hold a stock...LOL

ATMS - yes, that was nice today. I don't have
any index calls for next week, but I've been adding
to my favorite Nasdaq fund on steroids - UOPIX.
It provides 2X Nasdaq leverage. I can buy it in my
IRA. It's from Profunds, and of course it's way down
from the peak when Naz was at 5000+.
It's not for the faint of heart. If we see Naz 1500
it will be down quite a bit..but I can add more ;-)
I'm playing it more for a bounce back eventually to
2500-3000. That may take some time..but I can wait.
Have a good weekend, and good luck with your calls
next week...

You recently mentioned LEON and PLXS medical stocks. On March 14th LEON finalized acquisition of another of your old rats TRGA. Would appreciate your opinion of LEON as a result of that acquisition. I note LEON down 3% today to 23.75. As always, really appreciate your input and comments.

Ouch, just saw the closing price for ATMS. YYYouch! Another old rat that dumped yesterday is ALDV. Are they maybe dcb (dead cat bounce) targets? Or is it better to just let them find their own level?
The most recent dcb I had was OLN..good for a $fiver

Dcb's are not as easy as they used to be.

I guess I was careful, even with the dump, still above the 2 buck mark.
