I talked to a poot option writer on SI about a year ago ELMER. I had been reading his taunts on the AMD
thread and found him to be an open and honest guy. Of course in those days, poot option writers made easy money. He told me he wrote poot options on lots of stocks.

He made several points that few took seriously. I believe him though.

(1) Even on big trading stocks like INTC, the stock can be influenced easily by the poot writers just by buying a few stocks on "speculation".

(2) It does not require any "manipulation". The poot writer intelligently reads the stock action. If it looks as if a few guys are buying it up, so what if he buys up a few stocks himself.

The only mistake I made was playing GE when I should of played IBM.
