So help me out here -- you buy $100 dollars of yhoo at the ipo, watch the stock go up to $10,0000, sell it and pay $2,000 in taxes, buy the stock back for $10,000 and hold it while the price drops to $1,000. You end up with a loss, at least as we speak, of 50% of your ORIGINAL investment. Walk me through the math Bill.
