Get this, I'm on the phone now with one of my brokers to ask about the extent of margin selling, the market is closed, and their lines are busy. And, their lines are NEVER busy, even during trading hours normally.
OK, got through, margin calls were heavy on Monday, and there were calls going out today due to yesterday's drop, and more should hit on Monday due to today's drop.
That's what I'm hearing, for what it's worth.
