I never said I was an anarchist. I am not against government, just not for a big government. In an earlier post in this conversation I even said a big activist government has advanatges. I just said the disadvantages where greater.

As for fines, many activities will invalidate your insurance (like skydiving). You need to get special insurance for that. Race car drivers need special riders on their policies before they can compete in events. That is your "fine".

That is not a fine. It is not a legal penalty. Sky diving is legal. Driving without a seatbelt in many states is not.

I'm not against a government banning a known hazardous material like lead paint from being used in homes. I am against government making laws mandating that people wear seatbelts, or outlawing things things that don't harm anyone (or only the person doing it). I'm also don't think we need things like a federal mohair subsidy or a strategic helium reserve.
